My deepest condolences to the family! It is with respect and humility that I must thank Irvin himself and his family for a rich acquaintance and enriching friendship for a few, but very good years. I got to meet a Christian man and pastor with dignity, integrity, spiritual car and with social insight, life experience, studies and work from several parts of the world. His written greetings were distinguished, precise and knowledgeable, both spiritually and intellectually. His dignity was revealed in his writing and speech, and shown in greater power through prayer with authority and singing with deep anointing. Death has taken away a man of honor, integrity, and great spiritual influence. We will miss his ability to lift up Jesus and the glory and anointing that was conveyed in this name above all names! "God can", was his positive, fundamental and experience-based signature. I and my children have been very privileged to have known this honorable man and to have been the object of his intercession and care. My children extend their deepest condolences to the family, in gratitude for such a family friend. Korsfjord Bønnesenter has also been privileged in its meeting with this man of honour. We must take note of a human loss. And say goodbye to a spiritual treasure that has been a blessing to people all over the world. - Also for those who have experienced war, poverty and illness. We know he is now at home with Jesus and with the bliss and togetherness that only the Creator can give. His smile is, if possible even bigger now, and his footprint in us is what remains. In deep gratitude, we celebrate and honor the life of a Man of God who has left an indelible mark on us. May the soul of Pastor Irwin W. Dear Dad Its me your daughter and chef Tutu. Thank you for all you have done for me for the past 54 years . You impacted my life in ways no words can describe . You were my true hero , my protector, provider, teacher, mentor ,pastor, advisor , biggest inspiration and friend. A father like you is very rare and irreplaceable . You were very kind, honourable,remarkable,hardworking , God fearing,caring and honest. On April 17th 2024 ,God called you home. Since your departure, life has never been the same. Im full of sadness that you are no longer here. The pain of your absence is so unbearable .I miss the morning calls for prayers, the jokes to brighten my day and your daily counsel. Papa, I didnt know that my recent visit with you few weeks ago would be our last time here together. You made me laugh so hard , gave me hugs and hope . Your last words and wishes to me I still hear and promise to honour . Although you are gone to heaven papa, I want you to know that I will miss you so much but the good memories of you will live on forever. Thanks for being a great grandfather to my children Until we meet to part no more, rest in perfect peace. Love you daddy!

Keep Resting In Peace my father in law. Gone from us now, but never forgotten. I missed listening to you narrating stories about life in pre war Liberia. You were a great man and over all a great leader. I pray for peace, love, and eternity on your gentle soul. Till we meet again, its all LOVE 🕊️

Thank you for allowing me to get to know you Papa Kofa, as a pastor, counselor, prayer partner and friend. What you have shared of yourself and your life has meant a lot to me. It was a great pleasure to be with you and Alice in various contexts. Thinking with gratitude of your visit to the Korsfjord beans center last summer and not least the nice fishing trip we had. Your strong testimony that the name Jesus is enough in all situations is an example for every believer. You had a knowledge, character and integrity worthy of a statesman and a man of God and are an example to follow. You left a footprint that has become very important in my life and work. Dear brother Kofa. You have left a huge void. All of us at Congregation Ebenezer loved you dearly and you are deeply missed. You delighted us with your singing and preaching. It really lifted us up. But now we must go on without you, dear brother. But you have kept the faith and finished the race and you are now Home with Jesus.❤️🙏

Growing up with an absent father made me remind Sidney how blessed he and his siblings are to have you. A great father sent by God to father them. It is satisfying to know you are the father of amazing children, especially my brother Sidney. You did a tremendous job fathering and nurturing the next generation of Kofas. Your legacy is intact. You did all this serving and acknowledging God as the well of your strength. Your songs and voice still and will continue to echo in the ears and hearts of every Buduzionist. Thank you for your counsel and the constant reminder to stay authentic. Gee man, Mama Alice Kofas Sunnyboy, thanks for shining your sun on us all. You are the epitome of a gracious father. Take your rest and keep singing with the angels.

Pappa as we affectionately called you. It so hard to be writing . I just want to say a big thank you for always teaching me about Jesus and teaching me about my roots and the pride of my heritage. You were always there my entire life and its hard not to hear your your voice , advices and beautiful stories. My heart is broken, I miss and love you. Rest on pappa..
